目前不銹鋼管有兩種制造管子的方式：無縫鋼管（seamless）、焊接或是電阻焊接（electric resistance welding，ERW）。
無(wu)縫鋼(gang)管是(shi)用擠型或是(shi)輥式穿孔方式+冷軋(ya)或冷拔相(xiang)結合制造(zao)。
焊接或(huo)電阻焊接管（Electric resistance welding）是將金屬片折彎成管狀后，在邊緣部分焊接接合，因此在管的側面會(hui)有焊接縫。
